New Zealand Visa Fees Updates

From October 1st, New Zealand will increase its student visa fee from NZ$375 to NZ$750, alongside hikes in visitor fees and working holiday visas. The post-study work visa fee will rise significantly, from NZ$700 to NZ$1,670. Immigration Minister Erica Stanford stated that these changes aim to make the immigration system more sustainable and reduce taxpayer subsidies, covering higher processing and compliance costs. Despite the increases, New Zealand's fees remain competitive compared to Australia and the UK.
